In the coming months about 3000 homes and businesses in South Morang will be connected to 100 megabits per second optic fibre with their choice of Internet Service Providers.
During the next few years it is anticipated that about 75,000 homes and businesses will be connected to optic fibre as the project continues to rollout to new residential developments in Mernda and Doreen.
There are already facilitated fibre connections at the Aurora development in Epping and University Hill in Bundoora.
