Gibson Property Corporation (GPC) and Roche Property Group (RPG) have opened the much anticipated Mason Point – ‘Bush Boulevard’ road connection in the South Morang Activity Centre.

The AU $4.5 million link will take up to 20,000 vehicles per day off Plenty Road. It will also serve as an important connection for Melbourne’s north by alleviating traffic from the McDonalds and Plenty Road intersection in South Morang.

Whittlesea Mayor Cr. Rex Griffin, has welcomed the opening of Bush Boulevard as an “essential transport link that will improve access to South Morang Activity Centre, help shape the area to its full potential and have flow-on benefits for residents and businesses.”

Charles Gibson, of GPC said that Bush Boulevard will offer a faster, accessible route from Plenty Road into Westfield’s Plenty Valley shopping centre, the South Morang Train Station and McDonalds Road to Epping.

“We are pleased to be opening the Bush Boulevard road connection. It will provide a vital link for the employees and residents within Mason Point and the surrounding areas,” he said.
